I think either he is already born or he will be soon. He's supposed to come when the end of the world is near. All I know is that when he is born he will already know how to talk and he will be born from an ex-priest and an ex- nun. I read somewhere that he will have everyone get the numbers 666 on the back of their necks and then they won't be bothered by him. But he will kill all the christians and take over the world. I'm really scared and worried by that, I hope that happens after me and everyone I know dies. Oh, and by the way, great question.

Well.....anything is possible. Actually....that was my first gut-feeling over 2 years ago when I first read about him and back then I had NO clue he'd get near as far as he has. But....we won't know for sure until he's in office - which I have a pretty darn good feeling that he will be our next president. I, for one, don't like the guy one bit. He creeps me out yet is strangely attractive - something very wrong with that man. But yeah - he could be the antichrist. People WILL have a clue when he does appear, some people that is. That is why the Bible tells us to be on the lookout for him and the signs because we, as Christians, are to warn others when he does appear. Many love him now, many do not....but if he is the anti-christ - once in office that man will do great things and then all those who didn't love him will suddenly be worshiping the ground he walks on. Regardless - who ever the anti-christ is.....he should be making his grand appearance any day now.

As spoken of in the Bible: 1 John 2:18 - Young children, it is the last hour, and , just as You have heard that antichrist is coming, even now there are Many antichrist's from which fact we gain the knowledge that it is the last hour. 1 John 2: 22 - 2 John 7 -For many deceivers have gone forth into the world, persons not confessing Jesus Christ, as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. 1 John 4: 3 but every inspired expression that does not confess Jesus does not originate with God. Furthermore, this is the antichrist's [inspired expression] which you have heard was coming, and now it is already in the world. As you can see, by the Scripture's, there are many people in the world who do not confess Jesus Christ.

The beast "666" as described in the Book of Revelation was most likely Nero Caesar. The number translates as such. In Hebrew gematria, every letter has a corresponding number. Summing these numbers gives a numeric value to a word or name. In Hebrew, "Nero Caesar" is spelled “נרון קסר”, pronounced "Neron Qe[i]sar". Besides ancient jews having a system of defining names via numbers, both christian and jewish communities were known to use numerology, codes and symbols (such as the Ichthys) when living under Roman rule to avoid persecution.
Suffice to say, the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD at the hands of the beast, Nero Caesar, and the end of the age of ancient jewish society, is what Bible prohecy is all about. This stuff has already happened. This new concept (150 years old) of dispensationalism, the end of the world and the antichrist appearing in the 21st century as a world dictator is simply non-sense perpetuated by nutty evangelical christians. Catholics and mainstream prodestants do not subscibe to this baloney.

Nero. His nickname in life was 'The Beast', and doing his name mathematically as the Jews did came to 666- using a variant of his name is 616, a footnote mentioned in many versions of Revelations.
If you read Matt. 22 and Revelations without a prior bias, it seems pretty clear they are talking about a person and events that would happen in the very near, for them, future.
Most of this stuff happened by 70AD- even a form of Christ's return (see http://en.preterism.com/index.php?title=Outline_to_Covenant_Eschatology)

The antichrist has been here from the time of John in the book of 1John, he was already there and the majority of the world was back then and is today.
What is Christ Jesus to the majority of the world?

Yes and he is waiting now to make his move on the world scene. A silver tongued devil promising peace if we believe his way. After 3 1/2 years, all hell will break loose. The systems are getting into global order at this very moment. He has one worry and one worry only and that is the believers in Jesus Christ. Once he shatters their power, he can do as he wants until Jesus returns.

both the apocalyptic text of David and the book of revelations were both describing rulers many centuries ago. They use symbols to cover up their true meaning while still getting the point across to the people of the time.
For the apocalyptic text of David, when the Jews were imprisoned in Mesopotamia, which was the taken over by Persia, the ruler forced them to bow down to his will, making him worshiped as their god.
For the book of revelations, king Cesar was worshiped as a god. For any trade to comence, they were forced to use his name or the numerical value of his name (which happens to be the origin of the number 666).
They were both historical and metaphorical, supposed to be understood by the people of the time, but we're not those people, so of course it would make little sense to us.
