Creationists, you claim there is evidence that refutes evolution, do you know of any? Creationists, where is this proof? If you have sources, please state, and I perfer Wiki or Answers.com, since they are unbaised.

Atheists claim that there is no or very little evidence regarding Creationism, and mountains of evidence for evolution, please, site your sources as I asked for the Creationists, and please use Wiki or Answers.com, since they are unbaised.

Now, I want a good, clean fight...no attacks, no calling the other stupid. We're all adults (or older teens) so please, both sides act like your age. Now..LETS GET IT ON!!!! -ding ding-

Hence why I asked for another, Answers.com. And if you know the truth, then share with us such truth. The only reason why I equate atheists with evolution, because a majority of atheists think it happened, that's all. No need to get mad about it.

"It has been supposed that Darwin renounced evolution on his deathbed. Shortly after his death, temperance campaigner and evangelist Lady Elizabeth Hope claimed she visited Darwin at his deathbed, and witnessed the renunciation. Her story was printed in a Boston newspaper and subsequently spread. Lady Hope's story was refuted by Darwin's daughter Henrietta who stated, "I was present at his deathbed ... He never recanted any of his scientific views, either then or earlier."; So...Darwin refuted evolution? This is just a quote, might be true, might not be...but here you go...

I do not wish to fight, merely a debate, there is nothing wrong with debates. If you think it's wrong, then don't vote...since that's all a bunch of "fights" and debates...

The sun is approximately 4.5 billion years old, which totally refutes the claim that God created it 6,000 years ago. I won't even go into all of the fossils that have been found and predate the creation story. It makes no difference in my life if others persist in the belief that God created everything and no amount of contradictory evidence will sway them.
BTW- Darwin never refuted evolution. This is a lie that has been spread on religious propaganda (chick tracts). I have read several biographies on Darwin and they all refute this claim, as did his own daughter.

I heard once that all life on earth has a HUGE percent of our DNA in common (90 or 95% or more)....

The thing is- this tidbit could be interpreted as "evidence" for either arguement....

Atheists/evolutionists would probably interpret this as evidence that all life came from the same source. Eons of evolution account for the variety.

Creationists would probably interpret this as evidence that all life came from the same Source. The Designer didn't see the point of "re-inventing the wheel" as He created the various species.

I've posted this experience on Answers once before...
I had a college professor once. He taught a comparative religions class I took. He also happened to be a creationist. Anyway, he was talking once with a reasonably knowledgable evolutionist once, and he asked what was the difference between Neanderthal man (a more primitive version of mankind), and ChroMagno man (modern homosapiens).
The evolutionist described some differences in the skeletons of the two species-- heavy brow bone, cranial ridge, shorter stature. My professor started to wonder- those characteristics were in evidence in him... He was an older balding man, so the fact that he had a cranial ridge was very visible. Looking at this professor's face, it was easy to see his heavy brow bone, and anyone who walked by him saw that he was only about 5'3" or 5'4"....

I see the variety among individual human beings, and feel that variety alone could account for the variety of ancient human-like skeletons we've found.

You want evidential support for evolution, and I can't cite scientific papers? Are you serious?

Wiki is NOT unbiased. It's also constantly wrong. I've seen dozens of mistakes in their philosophy articles, so I'm not sure how much trust I should put in the validity of their science articles.

Anyway, I'm providing a link to the Berkeley Homepage on evolution. It's not the most informative, but I suspect you'll consider it an unbiased source.

first I want to commend you for putting this on, good job, I wish I had done it first! lol.

Now, if you want a man who really knows what he is talking about then you want to listen to Kent Hovind, he tought science at a public school for 15 years and is still a solid creationist, he knows all the evolution story and the creation story, his site is www.drdino.com

Now, my answer
ok lets start with fossils, just for the heck of it,
evolutionists say that they have fossill layers, well, I have seen this - trees connecting the fossil layers, STICKING UP THROUGH THEM! so there goes fossil layers, the truth is that the so called fossil layers were all set by a world wide flood, which alot of people will agree to, now the flood, two words, austin chalk.
the austin chalk runs all around the world and guess what? it shows a flood.
Also, the flood is carried down by all people as having happened, wonder why? maybe it happened.
and the flood proves creation by disproving evolution.
So the fossils can be used against evolutionists?
YES! alos of your dinosour fossils, can be found right next to human fossils, check our your facts, there are tons found by human footprints amoung other things. and the chinease used these dinosours (used to be called dragons, as the word dinosour was not made up until i think 1841)
ok now, lets hit on the intelligent disign thing,
any chemist will tell you that we have a VERY complex system that if one thing were off would not work
so how many people, knowing that, truely thing that:

there was nothing, and it was nothing for a long time, and then, all the sudden there was a small dot, smaller than a period, and then the dot started spinning in the nothingness and pulled all the dirt out of the nothing (pulling something out of nothing, real scientific) and then spun and spun and spun faster still and then exploded and somehow the dot, smaller than a period, became a universe!
and the universe was not living, and the chemicals
hydrogyn mostly, created EVERYTHING!

really, thats SOO scientific, and we can definatly observe that.

now heres the alternitive,
God was
God was almighty
God said, let there be...
there was

Universe - come from two, I think latin, words meaning
uni - one
verse - spoken sentence

so if we live in one spoken sentence
aand God said, let there be...

haha just a little trivia for you.

ok and, if we came from a spinning dot, all the planets would continue spinning the same way as the dot was spinning, but some planets spin the wrong way, why is that?
maybe it is because God created the earth and made the planets spin that way, just to disprove evolution.

the helium amount in our atmosphere, at the current rate of helium he must have accumulated this amount in UNDER 10,000 years

A living cell is so awesomely complex that its interdependent components stagger the imagination and defy evolutionary explanations. A minimal cell contains over 60,000 proteins of 100 different configurations.16 The chance of this assemblage occurring by chance is 1 in 10 4,478,296

also there are gigantic human bones proving that we are NOT getting bigger or bettter
also after being humans for what at least 4,000 years (since we were apes right?) wouldnt we have become something else by now?????

thats all for now

Since (apparently) scientific theories are open for debate, how about evidence for the Gravitation vs Intelligent Falling controversy?

Evidence for evolution:
The fossil record
Radiometric testing
DNA

Evidence for creation:
The Bible - a poorly translated 2000 year old book that contradicts itself.

Make up our own mind

Whats unbiased about Answers.com and Wiki????? They are sites purely made up of opinions with no compounding evidence what-so-ever.... anyone can write anything on either site....... if you sited either in a university dissertation or thesis you would fail or lose some serious marks.

Wiki is user edited, therefore it can be bias. If you take a look at Answers.com you'll notice that it has the exact same information Wiki has, word for word.

Just go to talkorigins.org That's a pretty unbias site on the topic of evolution/creationism.

Evolution : every reputable university and museum in the world has stacks and stacks of evidence. There is far too much to list here.

Creationism : that wacko Ken Ham and his stupid Dinosaurs theme park, oh and "scripture".
