Without regard to anyone's religious beliefs, as a Christian, I do agree with you in the belief that it is not fair that we are allowed to wish someone a Happy Hannukuh, Happy Kwanza, Happy Ramadan etc., but to say Merry Christmas causes many to feel offended. I too get annoyed when people say Happy Holidays. What we celebrate at Christmas time when we are all out buying gifts for one another, is Christmas - as in the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. One doesn't have to believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son if they don't want to, and they don't have to be a Christian. Still, if they are going to celebrate Christmas, as far as I'm concerned, they should not even think of being offended when someone says Merry Christmas. It isn't just a holiday or a series of holidays - it's Christmas for Pete's Sake! If someone has a problem with it, then let them build a bridge and get over it. As a Christian, I have to listen and accept it when others say "Happy Holidays", so they should also be willing to accept it when I say "Merry Christmas". It's just a sentiment, and it is meant with good intent. People are too wrapped up in being so politically correct that they become ridiculous!
We can have our religious differences and practice our own beliefs, but in doing so, we need to allow others to practice theirs as well. If someone says to me "Happy Hannukuh", I will not be offended even though I am not Jewish. I just figure that they are Jewish and they are extending a warm gesture of good wishes during the time of year they are celebrating. Same would hold true for Ramadan or Christmas. People just need to let us be free to say Christmas if we want to say Christmas. Truly, Christ would be sad to see how we celebrate His birth, with all the commercialism etc., yet still, if we choose to celebrate His birth, we have the right to do so, in the manner we choose to do so, without others taking offense because we dare to say Christmas. Too many people are up in arms when we practice our Christian beliefs, even though we are supposed to be tolerant of the beliefs or non-beliefs of others. Where is the tolerance that we are expected to extend to others? We are expected to be tolerant yet others aren't tolerant of us. That's hypocrasy. Anyway, I agree with your question.

You are correct except in our politically correct society it is not tolerated to point out what is so obvious happening in this country.
Speak the truth in Love and remember that
TOLERANCE IS NOT COMPROMISE
Say Merry Christmas, Say May the Love of Christ be yours,
Say Jesus Christ is Lord and there is no other name which we are saved.
Continue to STAND for your Faith and the Truth, defend it with everything in you and then stand.
My husband fought as a soldier for this country twice and gave more than you will ever know to defend and protect the people of this country and the rights and freedoms we have been blessed with. In the name of Jesus it is time to stand and defeat this anti-christ spirit that doesn't even want His Blessed and Holy name being spoken of.in public in case "someone is offended" well who is that someone?
Blessed are you when you are persecuted for His name.
Stand be Strong and of Good courage
You are in my prayers,
Shalom
I am not either anti-muslim people, i am, anti-terrorism, anti-murder, anti-bombs. these things are NOT of God but of a spirit of hate, envy, jealousy and greed that is in the hearts of many men because they do not have the Spirit of Christ ruling their hearts and minds. God have mercy on us all.
we will reap what we have sown.

Terrorists are not indicative of all Muslims, just like Fred Phelps and Westboro Baptist Church aren't indicative of all Christians. And no one is preventing you from saying, "Merry Christmas." You still got freedom of speech. You can say Merry Christmas in the middle of July if it makes you happy.

We CAN say merry Christmas if we wish to do so. It is PC to say 'happy holidays' and to refer to the Christmas season as 'winter festival'. I kind of agree with not referring to the 6 month long selling frenzy as Christmas but I do wish folks a 'Merry Christmas' and the PC folks can like it or leave it.
The ones who seem to be avoiding Christmas are the businesses which seem to be afraid that offending a single customer will bring them crashing down.
No frijoles..

Fear Allah and say what you want. As a Muslim I could care less about your beliefs just as long as we respect one anothers territory.
And is the whole White race tarnished because of the things that The White Supremacists do?

this isn't even a question. that is given and trouble-free rule. I do in basic terms not study the English language section. i'm fairly knowledgeable- although there are others who're no longer- and for them that is very nearly no longer obtainable to study as quick or be smooth utilizing it a lot. regardless of their perfect intentions they could't study and undertake the language so properly. and because of this they stay "restricted" in what they do. it isn't even a question of English language with immigrants. Lot of huge international locations have diverse dialect or perhaps languages of their very personal international locations like India, China, Russia, etc. human beings from those international locations communicate their very personal languages and dialects. So, in this undertaking, we settle on to instruct little persistence and expertise. expertise of English language isn't a call for for being an immigrant. that is for starting to be citizen. i imagine your question or remark in most cases lies to assimilating contained in the US society and subculture dictating one's loyality. I finished-heartedly believe it. in case you come back the following, be an element of the society and subculture and language performs a large function because it dictates the biggest element of human courting-verbal replace. the position can one discover Teddy Roosevelt speech?

We can say "Merry Christmas" and we should! Just as anyone can say what they like. But this is not all ways going to be true if we do not stand up and fight to keep it this way.

Yes, you are being anti-Muslim.
Most Muslims are not terrorists.
Not all terrorists are Muslim. The KKK is a Christian organization, always has been.
No one is keeping you from saying Merry Christmas. Say it all you want.
Muslims in America have the same rights as everyone else. Taking them away would ruin the very foundations of this country.

if you are serious about your school that it is forbidden to say happy christmass, then i assume it is on your school also forbidden to say happy ramadan.
if that is not the case your should go complain about that on your school.
all other things yoyu are saying have nothing to do with the issue. keep that out of yoyur complaint if you want a solution.
happy holydays.
