ignore the question... i am an atheist. i was asking the question simply to see what yahoo would catagorize it as automatically? apparently yahoo feels questions pertaining to atheism belong in the religion and spirituality section. does that answer your question, why we're here?

Do you mean why am I here on Earth, or why am I here in Religion and Spirituality?
I'm here on Earth because my species evolved over billions of years through natural selection, starting with primoridial slime and leading up to homo sapiens.

Because theists piss me off and my only point on the planet is to destroy religion. Oh, and I like seeing theists contradict themselves and make complete.........well you know.......of themselves. But they do not have to fret, since them being ignorant is all part of God's plan. Never met a larger group of whining people ever.
