No. Cancer can start at conception and infants can be born with cancer. Cancer has no boundaries. It affects every age group, race, sex, and place on the Earth. However, there are specific types of cancer which seem to affect only males or certain types that affect only certain age groups or races. There are certain childhood cancers that stem from the early cells of childhood (embronic stage), some cancer which tend to only affect people older than 60. And some cancer which predominately seem to strike adolescents and young adults. Cancer awareness should really try to focus on age groups and what to types of cancer to look for at each age.
