...that this weekend, when I needed to buy a tarp to cover my leaking roof, tarps happened to be 50% off?

If so, why didn't God just not make my roof leak?

LOL.... Right all around.

There is a long long history of similar leak-stopping interventions by God. Decreasing the price of tarpaulins is one of his most commonly produced miracles. Roof leaks are second highest on his list of primary concern, led only by his devotional attention to assisting underarm hair growth.

Was it the work of god when tarps were 50% off on all the times when you didn't need a tarp?

It was the work of the retailer, not god.
