I want it for mid-december and I just want economy flights. I don't care what time of the day or if it's direct or how long the flight is, I just want the cheapest one available. So far, Travelocity offers me one at Frontier for $362/ticket. Any tips or discounts available or websites? Anything helps; Thanks!

Did you check Frontier airlines website directly. Sometimes the prices are lower on the airlines website.
Mid Dec is a popular time in New York, $362 may be the best price you are going to get.

Good Luck)

Check out airfarewatchdog.com

they basically look through all of the travel sites, all of the airline sites, and anywhere else they can and then they give you the lowest fares that they find each day. You can either search from the city you're leaving from or sign up for the newsletter and they'll send you flights out of denver each day....good stuff.

To be sure, call a Travel Agent. TA's get better rates, because they have access to 'unadvertised' fares. Websites only have access to the 'advertised' or public release fares.

A lot of people won't go to a TA because they think it costs more, but the reality is that TA's actually cost you nothing. the TA gets their money from the Airlines.

You can go to priceline.com and click on the "name your own price" button. It allows you to choose the price you're willing to pay and guarantees you'll be at your destination within 24 hours of departing. However, it does have some drawbacks; you can't see the trip details till you've purchased it and you can't change your mind later on, so read the terms carefully.
