Myself--I am something different. I think the power hungry folks who have hijacked all the major religions in the world have so warped the original philosophy a created a very devisive world. Personally, my idea of heaven and the afterlife is more in the way of the old Robin Williams film--"What Dreams May Come"

I don't care to label myself... I was baptised and raised a Christian, but now I'm atheist you could say, since I don't believe in god or the supernatural.
I'm more into reality, philosophy, and science. These lead to knowledge which I value, as much as life should be valued. For instance I wouldn't die for a faith.

Something else...I tend towards "Direct Path" traditions - Advaita Vedanta, Zen Buddhism, Jnana Yoga, etc.

I resent being grouped under "Other".
I hold onto Taoist Philosophy with my left hand... and Nihilism with my right.
I tend to refer to the mutual combination as Hui-Qu'ism: my result of bastardising the chinese word for "Return".... representative of my gradual return to a true state of nothingness, whence I came. Ex Nihilo, Con Nihilo.
