When I am alone sometimes. It feels like a storm in my head. I don't drink so it's not from that. I have to bend down and grab my knees and tuck my head and rock for a few minutes for it to go away.

I want this tyo stop.

I don't know my family history (orphan). It happens about once every couple of weeks. Something just comes over me and I start shivering like it's cold and I have to just curl up into a ball to feel normal again. A couple of times I bit my tongue pretty bad when it happened.

Tremors may be caused by:

* Too much coffee or other caffeinated drink
* Excessive alcohol consumption, alcoholism, or alcohol withdrawal
* Stress, anxiety, or fatigue -- these can cause a postural tremor
* Normal aging
* A variety of drugs and prescription medicines
* Low blood sugar
* Parkinson's disease -- this is the classic cause of a resting tremor and is often accompanied by slowness of movement, muscle rigidity, and an abnormal gait
* Multiple sclerosis -- can cause an intention tremor
* Over active thyroid -- can cause a postural tremor

Please see a doctor. This could be a type of seizure. A popular misconception of seizures is when a person falls on the floor and goes into convulsions but in fact there are many different kinds of seizures some of which may be barely noticeable. I would see a doctor to check for epilepsy or another type of seizure disorder just to be on the safe side. There are a number of medications that can control these disorders.

Sounds like some kind of seizure. Get checked out.

When your body goes out of control like what you explained it is scary and stress brings on my seizures. Really get check out. There is not much they can do but educate you.
Seizures are not always detected on egg's, however the doctor might want you to have one and a MRI just to make sure everything is ok.
MRI = Picture of the brain to make sure everything is ok and no growths etc.
EEG=Electrical brain waves (such as a cars electrical system)

Wish you well!

If you drink quite a lot of caffeine in whatever shape or form, it can lead to shakings...try cutting right back even if you get head aches at first....these will go, and if this is the cause the shakings should stop.
If the cause is something else, then a trip to your doctor would be sensible.

I would say you were having a seizure, like I often times have, but you would not really be conscious of shaking at all, it's hard to explain. Perhaps you are cold, or getting sick? I've gotten the shakes before, it isn't fun, but neither is it life threatening, visit your doctor to get some more answers.

This sounds like you're have a panic attack, but I can't explain why you would be having one just when you're alone so I would have to lean towards another reason but I can almost say for definate that this is Anxiety related.

This is quite normal, some people just twitch if they're sitting still, if its an uncontrolable shaking then I would see a doctor about it
