Hmmm... interesting.
I am left handed and markedly right brained.
My husband is right handed and completely left brained.
We are both fairly 'religious' but in completely different ways.
Example- I keep a kosher home not only because it's the law we live under but because I have a spiritual link to our home and to what I do for our family. My husband keeps kosher because it's 'the law'. We moved, and I had the mezzuzahs put up because after four days I felt an emptiness in the home without them. He felt weird leaving and entering the house without them because it is ritualistic ie; again, 'the law'.
.
I would be the one to question everything and act on my questions. He questions but gets his answers through observation.
Every time there is a religious event in our lives he gets somewhat afraid, as I will question our reasons for everything we do. He is satisfied with knowing it is a tradition.

Same actions, different motivations and routes to action.
I can't figure out if it is right vs. left brained thinking, male vs. female inclination, or a combination of both. I'd lean towards a combination of both.

I've taken tests that have shown that I use both sides pretty much equally. I would like to think of myself as more right-brained, but that pesky logic thing keeps getting in the way.

(agnostic)

You do know that the myth between left and right brain thinking has been disproven, right? The myth continues because people like it.

Atheist - right brain, though I'm actually a large chunk of both.

From my own experience, I haven't seen a link.
