At one point, I had both of my tragus' pierced. One of the piercings pushed out so I got rid of it. Yesterday I re-did my tragus and then also got an anti-tragus. Both of them bled a lot. The piercer told me that my tragus would bleed because its been done before. IDK about the anti-tragus. Anyways...cleaning procedures=Dial soap.

Are there other things that I could use to help heal the piercing. I know it takes a while for the piercing to heal so don't preach. I'm not worried about the time. I'm worried about the environment. I sweat a lot from exercises and my hair is always around my ears. I'm sick of the extended healing time b/c of an infection....any suggestions?

try and keep your hair off your piercings (so it doesn't get caught up in the jewellery), don't sleep on that side if you can help it, don't play with the jewellery, keep it clean (salt-water soaks also good), generally keep the area clean... =)

first off, congrats on the successful repiercing.
many people cant redo a piercing due to scar tissue.

i got my tragus done 2 or 3 months ago.
you shouldnt have any extended healing time, all you have to do is make sure that you wash it 3 times a day with soap, and try to pull your hair back as much as possible.
my tragus took about a month for it to be completely confortable and not bleed or get "crusties". i know thats gross, but everyone knows what im talking about.
keep it clean!
thats all you need to do.
