I can't remember how to make a few cells always move where you can see them on the screen when you scroll up and down. I hope I said this clear enough. I'm not sure how to explain it really. You're help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, highlight the entire row JUST BELOW the row you want to stay put. (Highlight the entire row by clicking on the row # to the left). Then go up to the "Window" tab and click on freeze panes.

I assume you mean you want to always keep some cells viewable while scrolling others?

Go into the cell just over or under the cells you want view. (Depends upon the spreadsheet and what you want to see.) Go to Window > Freeze Panes.

You might have to play around with the placement until you get it to freeze what you want!

to do this correctly , put the highlight below the cell(s) that you plan on freezing then click on windows, scroll down to freeze planes and your there this is when you want to freeze horizontal cells. to do vertical cells you you just put the highlight to the right of the vertical planes you want to freeze and follow the same steps above. this ought to be a best answer

Two options, in the Window menu - Split or Freeze Panes - try both to see which it is you want.

Use freeze panes.
Select the row Under or Next to the row/column that you want to always see.

go to Window menu
click on 'freeze panes'
before you do this, you have to select what you want to freez
for eg. if you want to freeze columns in the second raw, you have to select the one underneath it first
then go to 'window' then click on freeze panes
hope this will help
