to be fair some people like myself, cannot get our head's aroun the kgs, because we were brought up with 1llb's & ounce's, im english & feel you should not insult or blame the american's, that's just ignorant. i did not answer the question as i did'nt know the answer, maybe that is the best thing to do, rather than upset someone, but that's me.

I guess some people just find it easier to relate to lbs. Personally I have a better idea how much I have lost if I think of it in relation to how many lbs but some of my friends prefer to say how many kg lost. Its all relative!
Many hospitals in the Uk now weight you in terms of kg so it can get confusing if you are only used to lbs. I think it helps to have an overview of both.

i assume it would remember on the burden of your toddler while born and if toddler became into early. My son became into 8lb 2oz while born and now at 10 week weighs 12lb 6oz so it sounds slightly easy for a 5 month previous as Ethan is an straightforward sized toddler and that i might anticipate him to placed on greater advantageous than a pound interior the subsequent 2/3 month. although if the HV did no longer point out something approximately his weight then i assume there is not any longer something to tension approximately. have you ever plotted his weight on a develop chart?

those ppl who felt that it should have been referred to in lbs obviously uses lbs instead of kgs.
But isnt the main point to help that person lose weight no matter what standard of measure you're using?

Many younger people understand about as much about pounds as I understand about kilos. and metres.
I do wonder if our adoption of the metric system has something to do with the deterioration of mathematical standards in this Country. The more complicated imperial method did keep us on our toes

Countries differ in using various kinds of measurements. Like in Japan, they use unit of mass or kilograms. In the Philippines, they use unit of weight or pounds. People find it fussy to check certain equivalent measurements.

All westerners are dumb. They live in their box. Theydont even know where is Newyork or who was the first pres of the US. They have no clue where is Iraq or Iran. They think all people with dark hair are muslim. You have to put up with the ignorance. They only think about sex and their willys.

How bizarre!
I'm Australian and understand Kilograms more so than pounds but would be happy for people to ask a question about pounds or kilos.

Nothing is incorrect about that. Some people on here don't seem to understand that some of us use the metric system.
