Well hello! i'm trying to do my bit when it comes to global warming and i was looking for an article to post in my myspace blog. I was thinking of something simple such as '20 ways to reduce global warming'. Unfortunately although i'm passionate about the issue i'm not 100% clued up so i was hoping for a bit of help. So if there is anybody out there with some nifty writing skills and good knowledge in the area who'd like to write me one or if anybody knows where i can find one that would be great. I've tried google but nothing really appeals it's all a bit bland i was looking for something that will really get people ineterested and possibly entertaining. I know the whole issue isn't exactly comical but it seems like nobody wants to know so maybe it would be worth a try? ThankingYouu :)

Here's a good starting point, it's "The Global Warming Survival Guide" from Time Magazine and includes 51 ways to combat global warming - http://www.time.com/time/specials/2007/environment/article/0,28804,1602354_1603074,00.html

You should be able to find lots of ideas there. There's some further ideas on a webpage adapted from something I wrote a little while back http://profend.com/global-warming/pages/combat.html

When you've written your article you may want to post a copy here and ask for comments or suggestions. You could also email me a copy and I'll read through it and check for accuracy so far as I can.

Most important rule about your information, do not listen to shysters like Algore and others in the shallow eco-circus. Good science is what is needed here, and REAL solutions like true conservation of resources and materials, not little useless feel good political stuff like those idiotic "carbon credits".

it gets me interested when people talk about realy cool inventions for this problem like using mcdonalds frenchfry oil to power your car. try looking for "eco friendly inventions" on google. specifically search that. www.nationalgeographic.com
note: i dont know if such a websight exists but i just asked my friends around me and they said to recomend it.

Climate change is only one (fashionable) part of eco-warrior, the effect, not the cause. The key is to be able to analyse & reflect on our actions as part of our environment

You might want to check Joanna Macy's shamballa warrior story http://www.joannamacy.net or http://greatturningtimes.org
