I am always afraid something bad is going to happen. Like, get fired or get arrested for something I didn't do or that I will never get married or something is wrong with my car or my cat?

I think it's called anxiety attack. Stop worrying as no one has control on things that can happen to them, instead, rely on God and He shall guide you to the right direction and protect you always.

From the information you have given this does sound like Generalized Anxiety Disorder.- basically being anxious for no good reason. You do need to see a doctor. I have put some links below to reputable sources of information: the UKs National Institute for health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) the Uk's Royal College of Psychiatry and the UK national mental health charity MIND. Treatments can include medication and talking therapies. Best wishes and take care.

Could be an anxioty problem i would go tell a doctor your symptoms but i have that same problem and i would rather not take pills for it so i just try to calm my self down but i dont know which would be better for you only you know good luck but yea it really sounds like an anxioty problem or possibly a mild case of ocd (obbsesive composlve dissorder) but again not to worry these both are very common conditions and 1 out of 4 people have a mild case of one of thos so your not alone. GOOD LUCK

I've always been the same way. Now I am paranoid about losing my daughter or getting shot. I really don't know why I guess I'm just afraid of losing things and people that are special to me in my life.

I have experienced those things minorly. The best non medical advice I can give you is to make sure you get enough sleep at night, eat healthy, and exercise. You'd be surprised what those little things can do for your mind and body. :)

It`s just anxiety about life. Try to enjoy life and take one day at a time. When you feel an attack coming on, just take some deep breaths and say " It`s just my anxiety taking over again " Hope you feel better!

Just take it easy.... whatever - good or bad happens has to be faced by you, so what is the point in being so tensed about it. Whatever has to happen will happen, so don't be so paranoid, take it easy and live your life with out fear of mishaps.
