Does anyone out there know anything about cameras, my problem is I have a "Minolta Freedom Zoom 140 EX Panorama Camera" several days ago one of the grandchildren dropped the camera, now you can hit the on/off button & camera will come on & show how many photos I have left to take, but camera will not stay on to use it, if so please E-Mail me back.

Gravity and water are the leading killers of innocent digital cameras. R.I.P. Minolta Freedom Zoom. It is now a paperweight and you're about to begin shopping for its replacement. You can probably find one just like it on ebay or amazon.

do you still have the warranty? if not, it's probably cheaper to buy a new one than trying to fix it
