"C" in Vitamin C is no way related to Calcium.
Anyone could think that the "C" could be related to "citrus fruits" as the first sources of such vitamin C given to British Royal Navy sailors and soldiers which proved its efficiency on scurvy.(Remember that story of Scottish naval surgeon James Lind who did the Citrus experiment to those aboard the ship in 1747. He discovered that an unknown nutrient (now known to be vitamin C) in citrus foods prevented scurvy.
But the real reason is that the first vitamins were named in alphabetical order according to the order of their discovery or rediscovery. Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and J.
Vitamins F, G, H, and I were reclassified later and discarded as false leads or renamed because they were related to "vitamin B", which became B"complex" of or designated with different numbers- B1,B2, and so on.......
When vitamin K was discovered by a Danish researcher it was named "K" not due to letter naming order but the name was taken after the Danish word for clotting - "Koagulation" as vitamin K helps the blood to clot.
When the rest of the other vitamins were discovered later, the system of letter naming became out of style, so they are called only by their chemical names.
Hope that's clear enough....

No, Vitamin C is a vitamin. Calcium is a separate and disparate mineral. Your body needs both.

No, the different letters in vitamins is just a way to tell the difference between them! The A, B, C, etc don't actually have a meaning though. It's just to separate the different vitamins and what they do.

No. The vitamins were named after their discoveries by the use of letters of the alphabet.
