A lot. It will be time to put up or shut up. Everyone thinks since he is changing over to HMS it will be win, win, win. I think he will be #3 in line there and most of the winning will still be done by Gordon and Johnson.

...I think the most pressure Jr will have is the pressure he puts on HIMSELF. The reason Jr left DEI for HMS is to be competitive and win on a consistent basis for him and his fans. His "fans" doesn't pressure him.

...I have noticed that it is hard for Jr to hold his head up high lately. I think there is a lot of pressure on him now with the way this year has unfolded.

...Next year I'm sure the media will be all around him but I feel like when he is winning races his head will be so high that the media will be non-existence.

Jr. will be under the most pressure that he's ever experienced in his career. His fans may cut him some slack, but the bone headed media will be screaming the end of the world if he doesn't get a win within the first 10 races.

I think the people that will cut him the most slack will be his HMS owner and team.

I'm sure he is going to feel pressure big time. His fans will be easier than the media, its like if he doesn't win the Daytona 500 the world will come to a end..I'm glad I'm going to be at the race, and not have to put up with all the media idiots on TV..His fans will definitely be nicer than the media, sure I want him to win...but I'm just happy he is going to be in equipment that he can win in.. If you think the media talks to much about him now...Just wait till next yr..

Go Dale Jr & HMS in 2008

There will be an extreme amount of pressure, from fans of course but especially the media. The media has a tendency to "hype" everyone up before and after the race, showing the highs and lows, sometimes concentrating more on lows than the highs.

He has always been under pressure from the fans just because of his last name. Now that he is going to HMS, it's showtime for him & it's also put up or shut time as well. I am curious though & that is, what if Jr does the same thing at HMS as he is doing at DEI, you know not WINNING any races? What will excuses be then? Thoughts anyone?

I think he will have more pressure to deal with at Hendricks cause u have Gordon and Johnson to contend with, and there is two popular names with a hugh fan base. Just because they are teammates they will help each other on the track but when it comes to a win your on your own.

there is going to be pressure from the fans, hendrick and the media on Junior but he's going to be putting the most pressure on-himself. He will be fine and i think HMS will be tough to beat next year.

I think Jr. will definitely be under pressure by all of his fans and detractors alike, to win.....He will have better equipment, and no excuses next year.
Granted, bad luck can not be helped, but, next year, he'll have the opportunity to make his own luck.....
Go Junior.....

A loser going into a group of winners headlined by Jimmie and Jeff--is going to be difficult.,he will overdrive the way he is doing now..Jr. fans have put so much pressure on him by telling the world how great he is...dominating cameras at races, announcers-especially Rusty Wallace--you would think the dude is a God..apologizes aren't going to work at Hendricks......
