It's really sincere of him to hold off. It should be an indicator to you that he definitely respects you a lot, and if he has to wait for the kiss, he'll wait.

However, if you feel that he hesitates too often, then maybe you should just go ahead and make the first move to assure him that he has your permission.

Best of luck.

seems as though the both of you want what the other wants
but dont know how to go about it! He is shyso
take the first step and next time YOU take the matter into your
own hands and KISS HIM,that way i believe he wont stand
back from then on and the both of you will have a better under
standing, relationship will get stronger, put more trust into each
other.
All the best.

The way you brought up this experience I think maybe the point that stops him, if you keep telling him the problems you've had. If you've told him, drop it, I'm sure he's responding to it and is afraid to kiss you that you may respond with a feeling he's afraid of.

Tell him or. show him, it's over and your O.K. with him and want him to kiss you. Don't bring up the problem anymore.

If he is aware of what happened, he is prolly playing it safe and doesn't want you to feel uncomfortable. That's a pretty considerate guy you got there. Talk to him about it and let him know that you are comfortable with him. As long as he knows your ok with him, I don't think he will back away from ya.
