I know how to show a hidden folder but when I try to opem the folder option in my tools it doesn't open, neither does it when I try control pannel.

well go my computer........
try the option tools on the top of the page
over there click folder option and in that click the option of
show hidden files.............
if ur folder options doesnot open......then restore ur system and if ur folder on desktop is not shown
then it has been deleted.............

well then u're screwed. try logging as admin on the computer and enabling show hidden files and folders.
if u are admin and it can't show the hidden folder, i dunno what's wrong. someone might have deleted it but i am not certain. reinstalling windows is the last resort in this kind of situation, but i always hate that.

search it
if you name type it or leave it
click advanced and then click hidden ...
you will get all the hidden files
