High fructose corn syrup and corn syrup (and even partially and fully hydrogenated oils) are hidden in what seems like almost everything. It boils down to reading labels, as company proclaimed "healthy" foods have them. Quaker products, everything but their classic old fashioned oats and quick oats (the ones that come in the canisters, not the instant) and their new natural instant oatmeal contains that stuff. I refuse to buy the granola bars and the like because of that. (I can go to Trader Joe's, a chain of natural foods stores and get the store brand of granols bars for only $1.99 and they're all natural and I think even bigger than the Quaker bars.)
I recently had a similar discussion with my in-laws who were surprised that some of the foodsthey thought was healthy contained HFCS, like their Wonder whole wheat bread. I said that I had looked at the Wonder bread outlet store that my FIL shops at contains HFCS and that I walked out, deciding thatI would rather pay $2 for some good bread than $.89 for that stuff. On the way to our house, they stopped at Trader Joe's for us to pick up a few things, and I told them about the granola bars comparison (I think they buy Quaker). A couple of weeks prior, I happened to be talking about this with my FIL and he said something about they buy Total raisin bran (my husband had called me from the grocery store to see what brand of raisin bran I wanted, as I had said to look at the labels as some contain CS and HFCS). I had told my FIL that even Total has corn syrup in it. Yuck.
As I said, it just comes down to reading labels. To me something is not "healthy" if it contains corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup partially or fully hydrogenated oils. (Even if the label says it's "trans fat free", it still has less than 1%, because of that, the government allows the label to say it's trans fat free. For me, if it's in the food, it's not going in me.)

A lot of soft drinks are high in corn syrup.
Corn syrup (used as a substitute for honey) is high in corn syrup.
Many candy or sweetened foods are also high in corn syrup. Specially the ones used for desserts and dressing and toppings.
Many other precooked foods add corn syrup, ( as they do sugar, salt, etc.) so read the labels.
