There are much wider reasons here than just going to war with Iran because she might have a nuclear capability soon.
The real reasons for the war will be :
1. Oil has been going up in price and the value of the dollar(which is pegged to oil) has been plummeting. And Iran his recently set up an oil trading bourse on Kish Island. This bourse isn't trading oil for dollars but for Euros. This is seriously hurting and eroding the dollar which has been a floating currency since 1971 and not backed by gold. This is why the dollar is so low in value now, and the Euro is so strong. If the dollar keeps on dropping - this will cause a bad recession in the US. The US government has to prevent this somehow.
2. Iran's oil. The US needs her oil desperately. The US already has Iraq's oil so it's logical that this is the US's next most useful target.
And I see that there is the inevitable "the US are incapable of taking care of Iraq let alone take care of Iran" statement which I regard as a very simplistic and dim assessment. Try a short course in economics or perhaps even try reading a newspaper every now and again.

They can't even take care of Irag And Afghanistan, Young Americans ,will not join the fight. They are very supportive , if some one else dose the Fighting.
No invading Iran is not an option, what make you think that Iran will not send in ground troops into Iraq or Afghanistan both on their borders , if we launch an air and naval attack against them.

With some members in the military already on their 6th plus deployments since the start of this war and now spending less time at home then they do in Iraq, I would say that we shouldn't invade Iran with ground forces. Send in the Air Force and the Navy to perform a large air campaign simular to Desert Storm where we destroyed 90% of the Republic Guard before ground forces even advanced into the country. Treat it no different then our actions in Kosovo.

the only way is with a much larger military with boots on the ground and i am talking about a very huge military draft, excluding almost no one,to take iran,is a lot harder than iraq, would require an invasion from north, est and west at the same timee and a giant sized anphibious invasion

Yeah, like the Middle East needs another reason to despise the western world. And seeing as how Bush can't manage Iraq, how do you expect him to manage that nutjob Ahmadinejad?
Seems like Bush can't even take care of the US and get even Canada and Britain to like us anymore, can he REALLY have someone else hating him more than the person already hates him?

No not invade just bomb the hell out of the nuclear reactor sites this could be done with no loss of life and i don't mean atom bomb just plenty of bunker busters to get to those reactors buried in the side of the hills but don't bomb other military targets as they need them to def end themselves against other countries only the reactors
