I generally don't watch much TV - usually just sports or documentaries. I recently watched the first season of Heroes and I've watched the first 3 episodes of the new season.
Some other shows I've enjoyed:
The Shield - I've seen every episode
The Sopranos - I've seen every episode
Six Feet Under - I've seen every episode
Rescue Me - I watched the first season and the first few of season 2
Dead Like Me - I've seen every episode and I understand there is a new project/series coming soon.

I watched the first season of Oz, and I think part of the second season. I thought it was ok, but I wasn't especially interested.

Hmm, there's a few tv shows I'll get the DVDs of. I've already got the dvds for Rome I and for the whole Red Dwarf series. I would also like to have Rome II, Heroes and Star Trek. There's few tv shows worth watching more than once according to me. Although I love movies, I don't really watch tv as such. But those few series I mentioned I really love and would watch again...

Yes! It's one of the best shows ever! Your actually lucky because one of the main reasons some people don't like it is because they were slow at times, and ABC really messed with the scheduling, but you can watch the first 4 seasons whenever you want at whatever pace you choose. Season 5 comes out on DVD December 8th if your using DVDs and the last season isn't until 2010 so you've got plenty of time.

I think you might like to check out "From the Earth To The Moon"
(taken from wikipedia):
From the Earth to the Moon is a twelve-part HBO television miniseries (1998) co-produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, Tom Hanks, and Michael Bostick detailing the landmark Apollo expeditions to the Moon during the 1960s and early 1970s. Largely based on Andrew Chaikin's book, A Man on the Moon, the series is known for its accurate telling of the story of Apollo and outstanding special effects.

I really enjoyed watching the HBO series "Oz" and catching up on the earlier episodes. If you are not familiar with that show, here is a link:
