Not really. They are a source of vitamins as are many other fruits and veggies, some of the others have much higher levels of vitamins. A healthy diet including daily: 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies, 3-6 servings of complex carbs, 2-3 servings of protein and not too much fat is good for your general health including your eyes. Too much protein, fat and junk food and not enough fruits and veggies is bad for your general health including your eyes.

If your diet is extremely lacking in Vitamin A , you will have a number of medical problems including poor vision; this extreme lack of Vitamin A is only found in people close to starvation.

Carrots are rich in beta-carotene, which the body converts into vitamin A, which is necessary to maintain proper vision.

No they don't. It is a common myth. Most of the vitamins in carrots you can get in a normal diet or a multivitamin.

Yes... they do ... they provide vitamin A which is good for your vision. This is a vitamin you can overdose on, however, so don't try to just dose yourself with a lot of vitamin A
