I wear glasses and I am not exactly a big fan of it. Is it better to do laser eye surgery? or contacts? or any other solutions?

I have to wear glasses all the time. excluding sleeping and bathing. and I am not exactly a big fan of it. Is it better to do laser eye surgery? or contacts? or any other solutions? Any downsides with either laser or contacts?

Try contacts, though you will need a seperate prescription for them and it takes time to get used to them. You also need to give your eyes a break now and then by wearing glasses.
Laser eye surgery isnt the best as things can go very wrong. Although there are success stories, there are also too many bad suregons and horror stories.

I wore contacts 16-18 then my eyes rejected them, I struggled for years with all types of contacts but always went back to glasses, at 28 I had the PRK laser surgery at the Cromwell Hospital in London, I am now 43 and free from glasses, I was -6 prescription and very short sighted, best money I've ever spent.

I wear glasses for reading and i allso have contacts that i rarely use. Laser surgery would'nt be pratical for me because of my age. My Daughter Inlaw went from contacts to Lazer surgery about six years ago and swears that it is the best move she ever made. She now has 20 20 vision and the proceedure was'nt painful or time consumeing.
Good Luck

My mate got the laser surgery done about 5 years ago and his eyes are almost back to the same stage before the surgery.
I use lenses and get on fine only problem sometimes fall asleep drunk with them in!

I think glasses are cheaper than contacts or surgery but if you really aren't keen on them, (and I know what you mean as I need them too!) Then try contacts first. Good luck xx

Any surgery has risks.
You would still need to wear reading glasses when you are older.

Make your glasses more eye catching (excuse the pun) dont you realise that lots of guys find glasses attractive on a woman, and they certainly dont detract unless your not doing anything with your hair or makeup
