No that is to literal. We are transformed into billions of molecules and then divided to several million or even billion beings, elements, minerals, etc.

Dust to dust is the child version.

Once you are 'back into dust', it will take a very special being to make you another body.
Only God can do that.
So should you not be finding out just what God wants you to do.
It the 'works' that are required to accompany faith.

(James 2:14) Of what benefit is it, my brothers, if a certain one says he has faith but he does not have works? That faith cannot save him, can it?

(2 Thessalonians 3:2) and that we may be delivered from harmful and wicked men, for faith is not a possession of all people.

Our body will return to dust. For the faithful, our soul will be with Christ in heaven. The faithful will get new bodies in heaven; however, I do not know exactly what they will consist of -- they may be purely spiritual, rather than matter as we know it. The unfaithful will be cast to Hell until the Day of Judgement. They will then be thrown into the lake of fire to be tormented forever. There is no mention of a new body for them.

Yes. But our conscience leaves us along with our spirit. It's like saying we are caniables because eventually we'll eat atoms from our relatives.

Things decompose and recompose themselves into new compositions/combinations all the time. Nature recycles atoms. If your great-great grandfather's atoms are also part of my cat or my cat's food, does that make your great-great grandfather my cat or my cat's food. No.

Why worry, we have only ONE life to live , consciously, knowingly. So let us make best use of it. Who knows what we become next time, a dog, a hen, a goat or what.
