you are going to have to wash your hair with shampoo more often, no miracle solution is going to get the oil out other than washing it with soap. also, i know you said you don't put oil in it, but if you put conditioner in it, stop; that only adds more oil.

I sympathise with you! Having had the same problem for most of my life, I can honestly say that you just have to accept that your hair type is oily and wash it as often as need be. Don't worry about it getting more oily through excessive washing. This is a myth! I wash it every otherday and on the days I don't wash it I use dry shampoo (Batiste....what a product!!) on the oily bits. It is amazing and you should try it! You can buy it from Boots.

There is a clairfying shampoo made by Neutrogena that works wonders! It's called "anti-residue formula." Walgreens usually always carries it. I use it on my hair on Sunday nights as I use a lot of product which ends up building up in my hair, making it feel oily. The others are right, use a light conditioner, but when you use the Nuetrogena shampoo, don't bother with a conditioner. I have past the shoulder length, natually curly hair and it works wonders.
Check it out on their website:

Good luck!

Washing your hair every day will help prevent it from getting oily. Try usuing a mild shampoo such as baby shampoo and an oil free conditioner. Consult your stylist/beautician if you're not sure what to use.

Try a clairfiying shampoo, or even as bad as this sounds use dish soap but only use it once! Dont use it continously! Or it will dry out your hair to much.

You could try only shampooing the roots and only conditioning the ends.
You could also try T/gel for psoriasis it may be scalp condition.

If your hair is oily, the best thing you can do is just wash it. You don't have to do it every day, but you should do it often.
