serious ? yes . depressed ? maybe . in my opinion i think that you are experiencing some physical symptoms , most likely caused by what you have had to live through . just living where you do , with the way things are , is more than enough to make your body react physically . and on top of that there have been other difficulties for you in your personal life . i would like to email you an article - let me know if that would be ok . you have been through a lot , and the article would help to understand what you are going through . try to eat something good for you every day - otherwise it can become a vicious cycle ie. you don't eat properly 'cos you feel like crap - you feel like crap 'cos you don't eat properly . also the fact that you are about to make such a big life change (moving to another country ) must be weighing on you as well .
please be kind to your self . can i say a prayer for you ?

p.s. what the other poster said - about you have to talk to a counsellor or a therapist : i am sure she is trying to help you . and it is good if you can , but seriously just talking to someone that you can trust can be just as helpful sometimes . i have probably said this to you before , please feel free to email me ( i am not a counsellor or anything btw :) ) . you sound like you could do with some kind of extra support right now , and i would definetely find it interesting to have a pen pal from palestine .
thinking of you ....Kazz

Well, looking back through your questions of this year I'd say that you've had a lot to cope with this last 12 months and that I wouldn't be at all surprised if you're suffering from depression. I think I certainly would be.
You really need to see a counselor or a therapist so you can talk about some of these concerns you have and work through your fears about moving and the emotions caused by all the negative experiences you've had this year. Does your school have a guidance counselor? Or can you ask your doctor about getting some help? I also suggest that (if you haven't already) you sit your parents down and tell them how you've been feeling, they might surprise you with their understanding and sympathy.
Most of all, ask for help. Don't lock yourself away from the world.

there is no such thing as stress and depression until you get it and then you act and have the problems you are having. Do not mess about it will only go away with help but be wary of ant drugs the doctor gives you. They only give a breathing space.
If you had a bereavement, change of job divorce all of these cause or spark off this sort of problem. Of all things fresh air and excercise are the best
Best wishes

it sounds like it could be a sleep disorder, you probably need to see a neurologist, they are the ones that will do sleep studies, also some pulmonary Dr's do sleep studies, i new another lady that had this problem and she was diagnosed with a sleep disorder. First ask your regular Dr. I have heard of this, it is like you are paralyzed for a period of time among awakening. I can not say how serious it is, the lady i knew had seen a Dr and was doing OK. i don't know what they can do about it. good luck

Serious? Well, seriousness is arbitrary. How serious is it to you? How much is this hurting you? It sounds like you may be suffering from a period of depression. Have there been any major changes in your life recently such as the death of a loved one, divorce, birth of a baby or loss of a job? If so, give yourself time to adjust, a couple of weeks should do it and if this mood continues or you just can't figure out why this is happening to you, consider seeing a counsellor, psychologist or talking to a doctor. You may be suffering from depression or any number of medical conditions that can mimic depression.

i had the same problem my sleeping pattern was awfull and i felt useless everyday ,lazy tired and couldnt be bothered to get out of bed. Now i look at it diffrent i make the effort.I take lots of vitemins and give myself tasks to do even if its just a trip down the local shops. If you think its really serious then u might consider going to the doctor and discussing it with him, But i would suggest getting some vitemins in your system they do help....they helped me !

You need to talk to someone about your problems. You cant go on like this. Why not make an appointment with your doctor today and she can talk through some options with you. dont be embarrassed.Depression is a clinical illness.
Good luck X

It sounds like you have clinical depression.
I'd say so because you sound a lot like me. I'm tired all the time and generally listless. I can't even enjoy the things i used to anymore.
What (if anything) has happened to you to recently? It doesn't really sound especially serious in your case though.
[lol @ whoever thumbed me down...sad much?]

sounds just like depression. talk to your doctor, there are medications available...this really isnt something you can treat yourself. its like having a broken bone, its an illness, and you would see a doctor if you broke your leg to fix it, so i would strongly recommend visiting your doctor asap.
