Very important in my religion
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
The Catholic Church has the most extensive non governmental network of hospitals and care centers in the world
Helping people in their suffering is a personal duty as well as a corporate one.

I'm Catholic.

For Catholics, charity (in the most general and humane sense) is job one.

Because of this, some people say Catholics attempt to "work" their way to heaven ... but those folks don't understand the proper relationship between grace, faith, love, and works.

Catholics already enjoy all the best that God has to give, so he encourages us to share.

I do not believe in religion.I believe in Jesus and yes you always want to help the suffering.That is what Jesus did for me when He saved me.
Help the suffering
Visit the sick
Visit people in prisons
Feed the hungry
