I want to propose to my girlfriend. My budget for a ring is £2000-£3000. I would be grateful if anyone could recommend a jewellers in London - I live in Clapham but don't mind where it is.

Hatton Garden if you want to pick a stone and design it yourself. Otherwise just look around at various jewellry shops.

Hatton Gardens is a great place if you want to design your own... As for the 'rock' itself the best place to get them is in Amsterdam - they have the best Diamonds. You could always go there for a mini holiday buy a diamond and bring it back to hatton gardens to have it set in any style.
cartier have lovely rings also...
dont limit yourself to tiffanys and hatton garden only... have a look on the net... look at all the big names in terms of jewllery, if you see a design you can always have it made in hatton gardens at a fraction of the price! dont forget with the designer jewllery you are paying more for the name.
the other option is go to green lanes in north london... there are so many jewellers there - turkish, greek, cypriot etc etc who actually sell their pieces by the weight of the gold etc... they have really nice stuff much better than any of thetacky crap you see in places like earnest jones and goldsmiths etc!!

Hatton Gardens (near Chancery Lane) is the most well known strip of shops serving the wedding market in London. It's primarily jewellers though, with a couple of dress shops thrown in for good measure. If you can't find the ring you want there, you won't find it anywhere...

ok, what you do is take £500 of it and purchase a three holiday to Dubai/Abu Dhabi. you will get a hoop well worth approximately 4k for 2k on that holiday. do exactly no longer hassle in London- it relatively is extremely no longer well worth it. interior the Gold Sukhs they are going to make you a hoop it relatively is greater acceptable than something you may purchase off the shelf right here.

try Hatton garden very exclusive and what your young lady would expect to be a solitare of a fair size may not come up to her expectations but its the quality WoW
