And is this a straight "yes" or "no" question, or are there exceptions?

Usually no. You know poison is bad for you because you observed what it did to other people, or you read about it or whatever.

But some things may be bad for some and good for others. I may enjoy a little red wine with dinner, but for you, maybe that is bad for you because you have a weak liver, or because you don't know when to stop.

My fiance and that i visited one at the same time, and it wasn't a nasty place. It regarded sparkling, and it became small and intimate. the 1st dancer got here on and . . . . nicely, I relatively don't have a suited physique, besides the incontrovertible fact that it known like she'd at present had a c-area. i could no longer end gazing it. I felt undesirable, besides the incontrovertible fact that it became rather distracting. of direction, the sole different strip golf equipment i might been to till now had male dancers, and that they weren't in any respect thoroughly nude. besides the incontrovertible fact that it became a relaxing time. relatively the worst adventure at a strip club became as quickly as I wasn't there, and my guy went a tad too far with the stripper, spending $325 interior the approach. enable's basically say strip golf equipment are actually verboten in this better half and young ones . . . i've got already advised him i'm no longer pleased with him having strippers at his bachelor occasion. hi, that's what you get for falling into short-term idiocy.

I think the answer to this question is "sometimes." Some things are very blatantly bad for us; other things are not quite so obvious. Certainly I think there are exceptions, especially as we all have to gain experience. If we never try anything potentially bad and don't fall flat on our faces (or other portions of our anatomy) as a result, we won't LEARN.

That is not exactly a simple question? Many things can be observed from a distance and a person can learn directly. However, my experience is that everyone is effected differently by some things like drugs or simply looking up at the stars with someone you love.

Some things you know are bad for you without actually experiencing it. We have a cloud of witnesses around us, TV etc. that can show us the outcome of something without us actually experiencing it. Matter of fact read the Bible, especially the old testament. You will find some great stories in there that we all can relate too

Depends on a person and his abilities to grasp the process and it's outcome. However, there are many experiences where there is not substitute for a direct experience.

no. not necessarily. i can learn from the mistakes of others, as can anyone else, so long as they are observant to the world around them. and your question is probably not a ''yes or no'' question. i'm almost sure i could've left something out, but this is what came to mind first.

No. You can understand through observation and learn from its effects on others.

Example, when we experience pain we express through certian identifying body language movements and facial expressions... so when we see someone else show those certian identifying expressions after touching something that is "hot" or "harmful" we know that it caused pain on them. We then know that it is bad for us without experiencing or sampling it for ourselves.

I don't have to burn my hand to know that I don't want that to happen again.
Don't need a shark to bite off my leg while swimming to teach me not to go swimming in the ocean again. I am good at learning from other people's mistakes. Some people aren't. They just have to e x p e r i e n c e it! You can't tell them anything!
