As a female guitarist I very much appreciate a good solo. Not overdone to the point where it's clear the musician is trying to impress but when it comes naturally and from the soul, that's the best there is. There's a vast difference. I don't know quite how to explain it. I certainly appreciate the technical aspect and the ability but when it goes over the top I shut down. But every woman is different. Adds some spice to life.
