First of all, why should nepal army take over anyway? Who will lead? If king will lead, he is already overthrown when he had full control over nepal army. If army chief will lead, he will be another gyanendra and will also be overthrown.

Your suspicion is due to uncertainity of the date for the election of constitutional assembly. This is due to many political factors, including internal disputes and ego of certain political parties and also the king.

In the grounds, in today's world takeover does not happen; there will be a more gentle word "War on Terror".

The Nepaese Army are nothing more than glorified gate openers, no real command & control infrastructure, poor weapons, poor training, not there fault the Royal family and its mismanagement of the military because of the phobia of a coup, has seen the Police being used the real first force in the country and even they are p i ** poor.
