an expensive ultrasonic cool mist humidifier? I already know to shower before bed but that doesn't last all night. When I get the money I'm buying a good ultrasonic but that won't be till after my christmas work bonus. What can I do as the heat is starting to have to be on now to add humidity?

Fill up the tub with hot water. Overnight it'll very slowly evaporate around the house. It should help some. It certainly couldn't hurt, right?
You could put a large bowl of the water in your bedroom.
Good luck. :)

Run a crockpot with water on a 24/7 basis, with time out to refill the pot and clean out the sides.
Warm or hot water is best. There are other humidifier units on the market; I saw one at Sam's Club for $70. It has a 9 gallon capacity and should be good for an entire apartment.

I have ultra dry sinuses & i buy Vicks vaporizers at wal-mart under 20.00,

i also dry my t-shirts & wet towels on a hanger around the house when i shower & wash my hair.

anything wet you can put around the area will add humidity. & boiling some water too.
