I created a new VM. Created for XP.
Now I kick off the VM. But I do not think XP is actually installed.
When I start it up, it says
Reboot and select proper boot device
or insert boot media disk.
I have a win xp install dvd in my drive.
what do i do next?

A virtual PC would be similar to a PC...
U cannot just insert the Installation CD into the Disk of UR PC and expect the virtual PC to detect it, as it would be a different machine... (outright...) U will have to make some modifications...
