I'm not usually the spiritual type but i love the thought of a angel keeping a eye out for me.
I'm the type that usually has to see something to believe in it but i'm keeping my mind open to the idea of guardian angels .
whats your views on the matter?

Sure, it's a lovely thought that we have an angelic protector looking out for us, but I don't see any evidence or rational explanation to support that thought at all. Like you, I'm the type that usually has to see something to believe it and that's why I think the guardian angel idea doesn't make any sense.

Great question...thanks...

Yes we all have guardian Angels from the moment that we are born to the moment that we die.

Your Guardian Angel is there to help you and all you have to do is speak to them. They never judge you and they love us unconditionally. Sometimes if you are in a near death experience they will step in and help you but mostly they wait to be asked.

Many years ago I nearly drowned in Portugal (its a long story)
but there was no way I could get out of the water the current was too strong, I was so weak eventually that I could not even keep my eyes open and so I just went under, strange thing was once I stopped struggling I was not afraid just sad that I would not see my kids growing up. So I shouted out in my head for help...the next thing is I felt these arms around me which dragged me back to shore, my mum was there and I could hear her voice but still not open my ears. This stranger was still holding me and kept on talking to me. There was alot of activitity on the beach because my Brother and stepfather were also in the water trying to save me but they could not....and they would not leave me. They all saw this man help me and the next thing he just dissapeared off the beach. When I opened my eyes he had gone. This was a small beach and nobody but our family were on it so you should have been able to see where this man had gone.
Most people would have hung around and waited for praise or thanks but this man did not. Later when we got to our villa we were all shell shocked but still wondered where did this man go. We never saw him again. I sometimes can still here his calming voice telling me that I was safe and try to breath slower...his voice had an accent to it. I believe that this man was my Guardian Angel and even my Mum who is sceptic agreed.
Now 12 years later I do Healing work with Angels and I connect to their energy, its a wonderful experience to know in your heart that God has sent Angels to watch and protect us. If you want to know more about Angels put me on your contact list or buy Doreen Virtues books they explain things very well.

Yes we all have a personal guardian angel. God reveals things to those that have super tight relationships with him. My dad is a jail preacher, and he along with so many other wonderful christian leaders that I have known in my life have all been revealed information about angels. And we have them! What Im not really sure about is whether you have your angel automatically or whether you get it the moment that you accept christ...or...what Im not sure. But I know I have an angel that helps to watch over me. :)

I believe guardian angel came from this verse.

Psalm 91:11
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

Yes, I do. My grandpa died when I was a year and a half. I was the only grandchild in the state, therefor the favorite. Even when my dad wanted to discipline me in his presence, grandpa told him to leave me be. For that reason my dad never punished me. When I was six on the night before Halloween grandpa came to me and told me he would always watch out for me and protect me until it was time for me to be with him.

I have always felt him with me and when I was upset I could meditate and go to a place where I could commune with him. He has always been there when I needed him for whatever reason and if it weren't for him being with me at every step I probably would have hored around and screwed my life up like so many of my friends.

And, if you are christian, please don't lecture me saying that was god with me and all that, She! has enough to worry about to trouble herself with every teenagers petty problems, that's why she puts angels to watch out for us.

I am 32 and happily married. If it weren't for grandpa I wouldn't be. Blessed Be.

Night

There is a certain woman in western Canada who it is said to have a special gift involving angels. If you give her your full name along with $200, she claims that she will put you in touch with your guardian angel. First, she meditates by focusing on the flame of a candle. Next, she has a vision in which your angel gives her a message to pass on to you. As a bonus, the woman provides a sketch of what your angel looks like. " RIGHT"
Angels are certainly messengers. You may be familiar with the Bible account about the time when the angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. He told her that although she was a virgin, she would bear a son who was to be named Jesus. It is noteworthy that all these messages delivered by angels were in harmony with the outworking of God’s purposes and not necessarily those of the humans involved. Angels appeared as representatives of God, according to his will and timetable. Humans did not summon them.
Is it proper to call upon angels in times of distress? If so, we would want to know the name of an angel best able to help us. Consequently, some commercial books list the supposed names of many angels, together with their rank, titles, and duties. One book lists what it calls the “celestial top ten,” the “best-known angels in the Western world.” Along with the list comes the advice to close your eyes, repeat the angel’s name slowly several times, take deep breaths, breathe slowly, and “open yourself to possible contact with them.”
If God wanted us to know the names of many angels, he would have revealed these in his Word, the Bible. And if God desired to instruct us in how to contact angels and talk to them in prayer, he would have provided such information in the Scriptures.

Instead, Jesus Christ taught: “When you pray, go into your private room and, after shutting your door, pray to your Father who is in secret . . . You must pray, then, this way: ‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.’” (Matthew 6:6, 9) The Scriptural view is this: We are not to call on angels or pray to them, but we should prayerfully approach the Creator of the angels, God himself.

I believe Christ is our Guardian Angel.
Also, if you love - have love in your heart and mind, good spirits guide you,
and if you do something good to help others freely ~
you deserve a little something good in return,
which may, or may not save your life,
depending on how tuned in you are to what is going on around you...

Biblically speaking angels exist, they are created beings. God sends them to watch over his people. Some of them fell when Satan rebelled, and have become demons.
