Most shows websites have a music link on their site. I know Grey's Anatomy and Smallville have and some fans have created fansites with the music from each episode.

I like to use iTunes iMix. If you just type in the show there is usually a mix with all of the songs from the show. I also noticed that ABC started posting songs played on the show's website. That's pretty handy. Or if none of those help I check a search engine for [ex. songs from Pushing Daisies]. I hope I was of help to you. Good luck on your search!

most current show has web sites and that kind of info is often on them--just google the show or network

also if you turn on the Closed Captions on your tv during the show they usually tell you what the name of the song is ( and often the artist)
