How do you be attentive to for particular if the cat drank the bleach? became into this a right now bleach answer, or diluted? Does the cat have burns or erosions on his mouth or tongue that would desire to point intake of a centred bleach kind? My advice could be to call poison administration as quickly as accessible, and confirm you be attentive to if the cat ingested the bleach for particular, and if so, at what concentration - right now bleach, or diluted, and how earlier. Then follow their techniques as to what to do at the same time as you're waiting on your vet's workplace to open the next day morning. yet one component to recollect is that from what you have wrote, you're no longer even particular the cat has drank the bleach, and cats are notoriously finicky approximately what they consume and drink, so on condition that, it does not make sense this cat could willingly drink any great quantity of bleach. If he according to danger fell into the bucket and basically drank a minute quantity, this could be sufficient to reason some gastrointestinal kind indications and according to danger produce some diarrhea, yet the two way, a right now vet examine continues to be maximum genuinely warranted, given the actuality the cat is having the worked respiration and is not any longer ingesting nor ingesting. meanwhile, do no longer supply the cat something like syrup of ipecac to bring about vomiting, as this could basically reason extra esophegeal harm. appropriate of luck for a favorable consequence.

Bleach has a very nasty taste AND smell to it, so unless you have not fed or given the cat water in days, it would not have drank the bleach, as far as licking her lips, cat might have tried it, but such a small amount cuz the harshness, no damage done. Give cat lOTS of fluids, and open up as many cans of cat food cat willing to eat for three hours. Get cat to drink a lot of water even if you need to use a dropper and force it to drink.

These answers are all 8 years old. My cat just licked full-strength bleach and I needed an answer. I see a lot of web sites where this is discussed. . . .looks like the owner of the cat could leave an update to let folks know what happened to her cat. ??

If so, take her to the vet immediately. Her stomach will need to be flushed of the bleach (because it is never good to ingest that). If you don't, the chemicals in the bleach can cause killer side effects, not to mention.. notice how if you get bleach on a cut, it burns? Yes, now imagine it on your insides, which you can think of as an open gaping wound. Not good. Vet. Immediately.

My friend accidentally drank almost a glass of bleach and poison control just said to drink lots of water. I think she'll be fine, I doubt she drank more than a lick or two. Give her some really tasty wet food and add some water to it.

Don't make her vomit! If the bleach was strong enough it can do as much damage coming up as going down. Find out how much water your mom put in and call an emergency vet.

If she drank enough bleach it can kill her. Although I don't think tuna and bleach smell anything alike. Watch her carefully and take her to the vet if you're sure she drank some.

What the hell do you think? If you drank bleach, wouldn't you go to the hospital? Get the cat to the vet ASAP and stop wasting time on here!

To be on the safe side TAKE HER TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY!!! Bleach contains harmful chemicals that could cause damage to your cats body. Even if she may seem ok there may be another issue underlying the problem.
