Join a mothers group. Go to the park and get to know other stay at home moms. They are the best support for other moms! When you need to talk to someone that has been where you are now call one of them. This really helped me!

Join a club or interest group (mothers, book, computer, gardening, cooking, martial arts, photography - whatever interests you). This will allow you to make friends outside of your home and allows for activities that vary from what you may already spend many hours doing. Try the yellow pages (on-line) or do a club/interest search on the net....good luck and have fun!!

use your time for helping humanity. Raise funds and awareness for causes you feel strongly about, such as Aids or homelessness. You could also help illiterate adults learn to read. What a rewarding gift that could be! contact your local community college to find out how you can help.

Or you can help campaign for the candidate you support in the primary elections. You will get away from kids, and have good conversation with adults for a change:-)

I'm kind of surprised that no one mentioned getting a degree online or going back to school online. Learning a new language. Did anyone mention writing a book?
