My hamster is a love I cannot stop touching it, one friend says that he can die if I touch it too much. Is this true?

No it won't die if you touch it a lot. The attention is good for a hamster. However you can hurt a hamster by being to ruff with it. After all they are small. But I don't think you are squeezing it or petting it to hard. Besides a hamster will make a squeak or bite you if you are hurting it.

Interacting with your hamster is a great thing! Just be sure to let him get enough sleep (usually in the day time as they are nocturnal).
Perhaps your friend is just jealous you're spending a lot of time with your pet? ;)

Touching the hamster will not harm it, as long as you are gentle. Of course you have to give it enough time to eat and sleep.

NO! this is not true.. and they dont have poison... lol u can hold them as much as u want but they only have a life spand of 2-4 years so that is why pople say if u hold them too much they die its just cause there time is up!

Omigosh, your friend is silly. You will not kill your hamster by handling him as long as you are gentle. In fact, you should handle your hamster often so that he gets used to you and so that he has out of cage time.
