And yet you ignore the fact that people from the middle east are also crossing our southern border right along with "Juan" Isn't that alone reason enough to close the border and require that immigrants do a little paperwork before they come to this country, after all THAT is at the heart of everyone's anger?

IF more immigrants are in reality needed in this country, the government has it within their power to allow more immigrants in, meaning MORE legal Mexican immigrants, which most people are ready and willing to accept. (and yes I said Mexican, due to the fact that the US grants twice as many Mexican Nationals a green card then any other nationality, the second most being the Chinese who have a population ten times then that of Mexico.)

On the subject of taxes, if money is being taken from an illegal's check for taxes then they are using a stolen or fake SSN, in which case they are also claiming so many dependents that hardly any taxes are taken out at all. What IS being taken from their checks that they won't get back is FICA (social security) and with the way things are going WE won't be getting that back either. This of course only works in the cases of those who are not WORKING UNDER THE TABLE.

But while we are on the subject of Social Security, Why don't we discuss the fact that even though the illegals themselves can't collect social security they CAN collect it for their US born children and while I was researching this subject I came across a "how-to" guide that was written in both English and Spanish telling anyone how to get their child labeled as "disabled" I would link this but the last thing I want to do is encourage any one to try this for themselves as some of it encourages parents to get their kids to AVOID good grades.

Yes, Americans do it to from time to time, but that doesn't make it any less horrible, and those Americans should be prosecuted to fullest.

So, let me get this straight. Mexico is doing everything it can to keep the Guatemalans from crossing their southern border, along with others who try to pass from Belize and the Central American countries. And I will be the first to say that i can be a little ignorant on laws that have been around longer than I have been . But I was born here in the US and so were four generations of my family that I can prove.. We all have worked and I am still working and paying my taxes.. alot of these taxes I will never get back.. so please just show us the proof of your tax dollars working for us..

Immigration laws and how Americans have been reacting to the current situation involving amnesty for illegal immigrants are actually quite logical.
If someone doesn't have documentation saying that they are a citizen of the USA, and they do not report to government institutions, then they should not be allowed to remain in the country.
