I've been talkin to him for 1 year and a half alreready, he is 10 years older than me, he lives in NY and I live in CA but I'm moving out to NY next year to work, we trust, care, and 'love' (he says he loves me and can't let go of me yet) each other, we share everything. We talk on the phone almost everyday. I don't make any plans with him for the future and I don't illusionate my self with this guy. Oh and we've never seen each other in person, we are planning to do it though sooner or later.

Your right only time can tell I totally agree wit you, but just like she said it dosn't work for every one, i consider that too, thanks though, but i relly do need more help, i relly do like this guy ALOT! and i think of it this way, this relationship is not based on the physical, but on emotions and feelings. (I have only seen him on cam)

It is so funny that this question was asked because I was in the same situation with a man. He and I were talking over the internet for 3 years we met in that third year, we moved in together in the forth year. The fifth and sixth year was very very hard because it was proven that I honestly did not know this man! He became very verbally abusive and although he never hit me, he damaged many doors in my house saying "that could've been your face"! So, sure it can work, but just be careful with your situation! Needless to say, I am single, and he is married to a girl he worked with for 6 months and they are expecting a child in December! Better her than me!!! BE VERY CAREFUL!!!

wake up to reality! how can you have a relationship with someone over the phone and over the internet. you can be anybody you want to be over the internet and telephone. he could be big fat and ugly, showing you a picture of some handsome guy. he could be a murderer or rapists and you could not even know how much of a psycho and scum bag but hes pretending to be a good actor just to say things because they sound good and you really trust this freak? you're moving there, come on are you serious? why do we trust people over the internet? couldnt you find someone in your city? you have to stoop so low to find someone millions of miles away over the internet. you're in california with millions of opportunties. but i guess we all love to dream. forgive me for being harsh sounding but im only talking the truth baby, because i've been there done that and it all sounds soo good but in reality once you meet them there not the person you thought they were..get excited about someone who is there in flesh baby! its a dangerous world out there to be trying to be so serious with someone over the interent.
