well...in that case it makes two of us....I'm a basket ball player and a guitarist......besides that I'm also juggling theater and college assignments....i must be completely off my rock!....chill!..a lot of people are able to do many things of their interest at the same time...its called multitasking?....i can't really explain it too well..but i can tell you this much that you are not nuts..on the contrary your actually probably more intelligent than your other friends

Nope. You aren't nuts just because you want to try different things. Who ever said that you can't do both? You can practice skating & practice guitar at the same time. Lots of skaters (professional & non-professional) play the guitar & some even have their own bands. Do whatever you want- it's your life, not theirs.
Besides, they're probably just jealous that you thought of that first & of all the chicks you'll get from being a guitar playing skater.

No, it is very natural for someone your age to change from one thing to another in a blink of an eye. You are at the age when you are trying to find yourself and see where you want to belong in this world. Maybe your friends are the crazy ones for accepting the first thing that came to their minds and not branching out and seeing what else is out there in life.

No. You are young and anything you want to ever learn, learn it now.. Make the neural connection before it gets really hard. Then when your older have the connections pick what you really like

Sounds like me! I started skateing and then started playing the guitar so yep...forget them and prove them that you can do it. And if your struggling more in one area concentrate on that at the time. : )....
have fun!
