I thought about breast feeding pads or something along those lines.

First of all "sam" has NO idea what she's talking about. First of all wearing a bra during the healing period is good. Especially a sports bra at night. A bra will keep the piercing in place and keep it from getting knocked around. Second a padded bra is the way to go if she wants to make sure nobody will notice it. And finally she should get the piercing done w/a barbell not a ring. A ring will get knocked around and snagged all the time and in turn will hurt like hell and delay the healing process.
If you have any other questions feel free to e-mail me.

It doesnt take a super mega padded bra to cover nipple piercings up. Just buy a bra that holds its own shape when its empty. The foam in those is enough to cover the shape of a barbell. And having had one nipple ring migrate due to hoop wearing over time, I would strongly recommend getting pierced with barbells and wearing hoops only for short times after theyre well healed.

Padded bras are the best thing when it comes to nipple piercings. When I had mine no one knew unless I told them or they were my significant other.

Get pierced with the bar (stud). NOT THE HOOP!! After it heals, she can get the hoop and remove it when she goes to work. In the mean time where a padded bra with the bar.
Ta Da!
Oh, the lady above me (can't remember her name) said to use a hoop....wrong!! They will get caught on everything and hurt. I do not care what kind of piercing you get; you are supposed to get the initial piercing done with a bar!!

unless she works topless or in very thin tops with no bras... i can't imagine they're likely to notice it (i've had mine done for years, and unless i tell people, or wear no bra in cold weather, they don't know). a padded bra will help, but doesn't need to be very padded at all

Wearing any type of padded bra will cover it or make sure not to wear anything made of thin material like spandex or cotton.

She could wear a like really padded bra, or loose shirts, or thick sweatshirts over her cloths

Just wanted to point out that she does in fact need to wear a bra, to offer protection from her clothing rubbing against it.

She won't be able to wear a bra for a couple weeks after getting it done. It will chafe and possibli tear it out. If she has a pretty casual workplace, she can just wear big sweaters and hoodies, and no one will be able to tell a) she's braless and b) she's got a nipple ring.

However, I doubt she works in a place so casual. She needs to wait to do it until she is able to take a few week vacation. Once it is healed enough, she can go back to bras and no one will be able to tell.

No matter what, do NOT let her get it pierced with a bar! It has to be done with a ring! It is far less likely to get infected if it is a ring, because it is much easier to clean.

There is something called posies I think. They are a nude color, shaped like a flower. It's sticky so you can stick it to your nipple and not see it through a shirt. You can find it at walmart. they are fairly cheep. Look in the bra stuff.
