1) There are no pros.
2) There are the following cons:
a) He will run to Mom every time there is a problem.
b) Mom will always be first in his life
c) Mom will be included in your plans such as a concert.
d) Mom will tell him what to do
e) Mom will decide how long you will be around.
f) Mom will control his life and decide when and if you will
be a part of it.
It is true. How a man treats his Mom, he will treat you. My Dad was always indifferent to his Mom. Now after many years of marriage, he is indifferent to my Mom. Do you really want a guy that can't make a decision without talking to his Mom....and maybe you in the future. Momma's boys are the worst. Dump him and let him be some other woman's problem. You will never win over Momma.

No matter how well he treats you, subconsciously he will be comparing you to his mom, and he will probably put the needs of his mom before you.

For example, if you guys make plans to out to dinner, but mom calls up at the last minute because she needs something, you can forget about it.

Save yourself some time and therapy and date a real man that cut the cord along time ago. Look, there is a difference between a guy being nice to his mom and one who heeds her every beck and call.

No, he won't treat you like he treats her. But he will unconsciously relate to the ways in which you are similar to her; in looks, mannerisms, general behavior. I can't honestly say there are any pros to dating a momma's boy. They try to turn you into cook, maid, laundress, personal shopper, provider, unequivocal defender, and then they seem to get sexually twisted up in all that momminess they're trying to live without. Goooood luck.

Every time you two argue, he will run to his mother and tell her about it. And obviously she will take his side, making you look like an as shole.

And you're right...How a man treats his mom is how he will treat you---pure and utter bs.

My ex-husband was a Mama's boy and I'd never date one again. He should have sued the doctor that delivered him for medical malpractice because the doctor never cut the umbilical cord! It was awful! His mother was always butting into our business.

There are no "pro's." It's all cons.

The pros are you can see how he actually views women. The cons are he will praise you together to support him, but pit you against one another to get his way.
