Post it online for free and people will call u and come and pick it up, craiglist is one good resourse too. and is free.

if it's halfway decent , leave it out in your front yard, and somebody will snatch it up....also, there is the "big trash pickup" done quarterly by the city. they will haul away unwanted items that won't fit into the trashcan....i.e., a matress(check out the newsletter you get with your water bill, it will give you specifics)...if you live between camelback/indian school/51ave/99ave...put it out this week
