Absolutely

I'm currently going through that right now, have been for the past 6-7 months.
Sad thing is, me and the guy I am head over heels for get along the way a good, trusting, fun, understanding, loving relationship in my mind would be like.
His family adores me too, and I like them. I don't think I've ever liked any prior boyfriend's family before this one.
*That made it sound like he is my bf, he's not. But I've known him and his family for a long long time*
To top it off, it's difficult for me to maintain that "line" in my head of friend/bf&gf because he puts off extremely mixed signals.
For instance, he put the extra key to the lock on his bedroom door several months ago on my keychain. The reasons at the time were different than the reasons I still have the key now.
He has me keep an extra pillow and pajamas for when I have sleepovers at his house...
He gave me his beloved cat...

If that doesn't happen to someone then they'd have to be a crayon or something. The only way that doesn't happen is if you never like anyone in the first place. Once a guy I had a crush on liked my twin sister...sad. Oh well lol that was probably in about 5th grade so it was more of a recess thing.

I was completely in love with this boy in high school, it was one of those can't talk when he's around kind of loves. He was my friend for 3 years and I never told him how hard I crushed for him...I even dated 2 of his good friends. It's been 13 years since I saw him last and recently ran across his profile on myspace. I sent him an email and told him that I had the biggest crush on him back then...he said he wished he would have known=(.
Ahhh...to be a giggly teenage girl again=)

Yeah... In high-school i was just the friend. You know that guy that's every girls best friend, but none likes him as more than a friend. It almost drove me insane, but now i'm living a happy married life. There was this one girl that i had my eye on since 7th grade, I asked her out several times. But once she got through college she realized who you really want to spend your life with. And i guess it's the guy that's every girls best friend, they just don't realize it. So yes this happened to me multiple times. But you have to keep your hopes high, and prey that they'll remember you when they've realized they need to go after a different type of guy.

At least once? For me, that has been the story of my life. Imagine my shock when I got a huge crush on this cute guy and found out he liked me back, and then we got married! We're still married, and he's still cute, so the years and years of rejection and humiliation were worth it. By the way, I got married when I was 36, so I've experienced lots of unrequited love.

You can never be well rounded in life unless you've been rejected. That's how we develop character, moral, compassion, and a healthy self esteem, not ego, conceit, and vanity. When we were babies, we were told not to touch, because it was hot, just apply the same theory. We learn from what we live thru, and don't worry, one man's trash is another's treasure. Don't take the dislikes to seriously, they probably wouldn't have been what you liked, after getting to know them.

Yep, welcome to LIFE! It's happen to me so many times. And I've been on the other end, where people have liked me and I didn't like them back. I guess that's Karma for you huh?
Right now, I am in love with my good friend. And I do everything to show him. But it's not reciprocated. It's hurts like hell, because for the first time in my life I actually feel like God put someone on this earth for me! Yea right...;-(

Yeah we've all been through that. It's been more than a few times for me and it sucks. But what can you do huh? It's something you have to go through. After all sometimes there is someone we know likes us but we don't like them back so it's kind of payback, it's life.

I'm currently wondering if thats a case for me right now,
But yes just about everyone has liked someone without them liking them back, unless if your drop dead gorgeous with a perfect personality,
But every-one has there flaws, So I have to agree, Yes Somebody's liked someone that doesn't like them back.
