Dont tell Him, prove it to Him by your loving devotional service to Him.

You can tell him whatever you please. The deal though is he KNOWS if you have been a good or a bad person. If you have broken any commandment of God it is as if you have broken them all. So if you have ever hated anyone one, stolen even a small thing or something like employers time or have lusted in your heart you're in a big trouble. In fact we are all sinners and none of us are good, not even one.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Romans 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Yes there is a God, who loves and know everyone. Yet sadly, most people choses to ignore Him and overlook the price he paid for us.
God knows everything, but he, like you and all your friends, would like to talk to you. So, you talk to him by praying. You can talk to him about anything, not just if you are good or bad. Being good is not going to take you to Heaven when you pass physically from the earth, you have to believe Him and repent. Therefore, when you repent or be sorry for your sins, you need to tell him your 'bad points' and say you are sorry for it.

Umm just to humbly correct you on this point. There is nobody good, not one. We are all sinful and fall short of the glory of God. Our only righteousness comes from Christ who we humbly follow.

Praise be to god

The good new is Jesus loves you anyway, the bad news is there is no one good no not one.
Even what we do for good if we really analyzed it it'll be for a selfish reason erego self serving. erego not really good.

The other point to bring up.. God knows everything about you anyway so your not really telling him anything he doesn't know.

There is a cute story I heard.

A proper southern lady attends a church where it is tradition to at least once, respond to a pulpit call. She waited until one occasion when no one else responded and then went down the aisle to the pastor. Unfortunately for her, the town drunk decided to respond just seconds later and they both went down the aisle together. She was mortified.

The pastor told them to repeat his words in prayer, "Holy Father, I am a sinner..." just then the pastor felt a tap on his shoulder. The lady whispered that she just wanted to let him know that she wasn't a sinner like that drunk next to her. The pastor told her that salvation was only for sinners and that she should return to her seat. She said, "no, no, just continue". The pastor began again, "please repeat after me, I am a dirty, rotten, low down, miserable, degenerate sinner....".

Salvation is only for sinners.

Everyone believes that they're a good person, and just about everybody is wrong.
Unless you're actively trying to help save people from miserable circumstances, you're not a good person, you're a neutral person.

You can tell God whatever you want to tell Him, but He knows the truth anyway. I recommend full disclosure in all dealings with Him.

You can tell Him anything you want, dear. But without the grace provided freely to you by Christ Jesus, it won't matter a hill of beans.
