I feel funny asking this but there's this guy in one of my classes. He's kind of known as the "bad boy of the school" or whatever, but I find him pretty endearing nonetheless. He's shown some interest in me, just looking at me a lot, and trying to make random conversation with me. The other day he walked past me and twirled his finger in my ear. I was kind of confused why he did this??? (and why my ear of all places?)
Any clarification is great, thanks!

its funny that you don't notice the suttle signs when someone is flirting with ya!
flirting comes in all shapes and forms, hereby putting ANYONE at risk... lol
return the favor by this time wetting the tip of your finger and do it back to him, and see how he responds.
maybe you can be the one to change him from "bad boy" to "a few good men" ; unless you like em rough around the edges.

Dating a guy with a reputation as the "bad boy of the school" would probably be a bad idea. Many women are attracted to men whom are edgy or dangerous. They crave the excitement and drama.These scenarios never turn out well and the woman often does not know why. So be careful!
As for the ear, I would assume he was testing his limits. If you are comfortable with him touching you, then he might think you like him. The ear is also a very sensitive area. Either way you look at it, he was clearly flirting with you.

He sounds like a loaner to Me. And the ear thing well, that just goes to show he doesn't have a clue how to aproach a girl. If he is the bad boy, you don't need him. That would just pull you down and you deserve better than that.
the reason you're finding him endearing as you put it is because he IS the bad boy so what he does stands out and basically he is the class clown.
Find someone worthy of your attention.

What is it? It's called a swirly where I am from. It's in the same grouping as a nipple twist or wedgy I guess. Just a stupid thing.
He did it because guys instinctually want to be the aggressor and pursue girls but they either have no idea how to "talk to girls" or are too insecure to do so.
I would say he probably likes you. Try to get him out of the public eye and talk to him. Express some interest in something he likes to do & he'll most likely invite you to go do whatever it is with him.

I too went for the so called "bad boy" in high school.
I don't think there was any paticular reason for picking your ear, He was just trying to get your attention without looking to uncool. Some "bad boys" turn out to be not so bad and actually can be very sweet when not trying to put up a front. Just be careful and keep your eyes open

The finger in the ear thing is something that is often done to annoy people. Such things can also be used affectionately. My guess is that he did this as an excuse to touch you, because he craves your affections. Your ear is a non-sexual zone, so if you were offended, he can backoff and say it was just a fun joke. It is a non-threatening way of making physical contact.

He's flirting, for the usual reasons people flirt; he likes you, flirting is fun, or both :)
As for "bad boy," what does that mean? He drinks and smokes dope? Stay away from him! He is disruptive in class because he can't wait to get out and get an apprenticeship? Sounds good, not bad! I went to school with a bunch of "bad boys" who mucked around at school, quit the first second they were allowed to, got apprenticeships and worked their behinds off.

I know what you mean. He is probably like every other "bad boy". He is just good at flirting. Belive me I had the same thing happen to me a mounth or so ago.

hmmm must be some guy language, you'd best to ask a guy that! my guess is he's trying to get your attention, and that DEFINITELY would have! i'm also associating it to, since he's putting his finger into your ear, maybe he wants to have sex? like how guys put their penis' in you know where, and maybe he's gesturing that to you? you could always ask him when he gives you another one of his random talks or ask his mates or other guys about this language.
