I recently just got my whole place painted. I don't smell the painting much at home, but the smell is really strong when i get home everyday. Don't know if the painting's smell will go away or not. Please tell me if you know how. Thank you

Place kitty litter or charcoal in a pan in the center of the room and it should speed up the process. Also opening the window and adding a fan will help depending on how practical that is for where you live.

The smell will definitely go away. It should be gone within a week. Maybe you are very sensitive to the smell of paint. Be patient.

Put a bucket of water in the middle of each room and float a cut open onion (yes! onion) in it.....paint odor should be gone in a day or so.......next time you paint, to avoid the aftersmells, stir a spoonful of vanilla in the paint. Both methods sound weird, but they actually work!

Another thing that sometimes helps absorb the odor is, believe it or not, bread. Also vinegar is suppose to work. I've never actually tried either of these methods.
